Custom Jewelry Design in Los Angeles
Some pieces don't exist yet. An engagement ring built around a stone you already own. Earrings for a daughter's wedding. The necklace you've described to three jewelers who all showed you a catalog instead.
I design one piece at a time, with you, in a studio in Santa Monica. You see sketches, then a CAD rendering of the exact piece, before any metal is cut. Most projects run $1,500 to $10,000 and take six to ten weeks. The consultation is free and there's no pressure to go further.
Consultation
We meet in Santa Monica or on a video call. Bring inspiration photos, any stones you want to use, and a rough budget. I'll ask a lot of questions about how you actually live and what you'd reach for every day, and I'll tell you on the spot what's realistic.
Design & Craftsmanship
I sketch two or three directions, you pick one, and I build it in CAD so you can approve the exact proportions before anything is made. Then the piece is cast, hand-finished, and stone-set by the bench jewelers I've worked with for years. 14k or 18k gold, platinum, lab or natural stones: your call.
Inspection
Every piece comes back to me before it goes to you. I check each stone under the loupe, the prongs, the finish, the fit. If something isn't right, it goes back to the bench. Nothing leaves the studio I wouldn't wear myself.
Delivery
Pick it up in Santa Monica or receive it fully insured anywhere in the U.S., with complimentary shipping. Every piece carries a 60-day craftsmanship warranty, and I'm the person you'll reach if you ever need a resize, a re-tip, or a matching band.
Why work with one person
There's no sales floor here and no one between you and the person designing your piece. You talk to me at the consultation, you approve my sketches, and I'm the one checking the finished piece under the loupe. That's why clients come back for a second and third project, and why so much of my work is heirloom stones, engagement rings, and pieces that mark something.
