Pricing (2026)

Official pricing for Kate Rose Fine Jewelry, Santa Monica, CA. Last updated October 2026 by Kate Price, founder and designer.

I'd rather you know the numbers before we talk. Here they are, plainly.

What does a project with Kate Rose Fine Jewelry cost in 2026?

Every custom or heirloom redesign project at Kate Rose Fine Jewelry begins at $2,500. Most single-piece redesigns land between $2,500 and $5,000. The final number depends on the design, the metal, and how many new stones or how much new gold the piece needs. Reusing your own diamonds and gold usually keeps the cost down.

What does a Remix cost?

A Remix is one new piece built from stones out of two or more separate inherited pieces. Remix projects at Kate Rose Fine Jewelry run $3,500 to $10,000 and take six to ten weeks from approved design.

Most Kate Rose Fine Jewelry projects take four to six weeks once the design is approved. Remix projects take six to ten weeks. I give you a specific date before we start.

Is the consultation free?

Yes. Consultations with Kate Price are free and come with no commitment, either in person in Santa Monica or by video from anywhere in the US. You leave with an honest read on what your piece can become and a detailed quote.

What's included in the price?

Your quote covers the design (sketches and CAD renders), the bench work, setting your stones, and finishing. If the piece needs new gold, extra stones, or insured shipping, I list it in the quote up front so nothing is a surprise.

Do you work with clients outside Los Angeles?

Yes. Pricing is the same for remote clients. The full process runs by video consultation and insured, tracked mail. How remote redesign works.

Holiday 2026: can it be ready by Christmas?

For a piece under the tree this year, we need to start the design by November 1. I take on about ten holiday pieces.

Where do I start?
